To register with Retorna from Chile, you need a valid Chilean RUT or a valid foreign RUT. Passports of any nationality, Venezuelan ID cards, and expired documents are not accepted. If your document is not a valid RUT issued in Chile, you will not be able to complete the registration.
Yes, you can use MACH to pay for your transfers from Chile via Retorna. MACH works with all active MACH accounts. Sending limits are determined by your Retorna profile and the specific limits of your MACH account. Only payments from the account holder are accepted, and the amount must match exactly.
From Chile, you can use the following payment methods: bank transfer within the Retorna app, bank transfer from your own bank, and MACH. All methods require that the payment comes from an account in your name that matches the account holder on your Retorna profile.
Sending limits from Chile vary by destination: for transfers in bolivars to Venezuela, the daily minimum is 1,000 CLP and the maximum is 2,000,000 CLP; for transfers in dollars to Venezuela, the daily minimum is 100 USD and the maximum is 300 USD (with a 1,000 USD monthly maximum); for other destinations, the daily minimum is 5,000 CLP and the maximum is 2,000,000 CLP, though cash pickups may have lower limits.
Delivery times from Chile to Venezuela are: 10 minutes for mobile payments in VES, 30 minutes for bank transfers in VES, and 2 to 3 business hours for cash pickups in USD. These times begin once Retorna validates your payment.
