To register with Retorna from Peru, you can use: a Peruvian DNI, a Peruvian Foreigner ID card (if you have legal residency in Peru), or a Venezuelan passport (valid or expired). You cannot register with passports from other countries, provisional documents, or foreign ID cards other than Peruvian ones.
From Peru, the only available payment method is a cash deposit. When you select this option, you will receive detailed instructions with an agreement number to identify Retorna and the authorized physical locations where you can make the deposit.
Yes, you can send dollars from Peru to Venezuela using Retorna. Currently, you can send $100, $200, or $300 to be picked up in cash at Italcambio offices. For the pickup, your recipient should keep the following information in mind:
Sending limits from Peru to Venezuela are: for bolívares (VES), a minimum of 30 Peruvian soles (PEN) and a maximum of 6,000 Peruvian soles (PEN) per day; for dollars (USD), a minimum of 100 USD and a maximum of 300 USD per day. You can only send exactly 100, 200, or 300 USD.
Delivery times from Peru to Venezuela are as follows: Pago Móvil in VES takes 10 minutes, bank transfers in VES take 1 hour, and cash pickups in USD take 2 to 3 business hours. These times begin once Retorna has validated your payment.
